Wanted - Racer for a lady

Postby Paul zimzum » Fri Aug 22, 2003 10:19 am

Anyone know where I can get a decent, sturdy road bike that would fit my girlfriend.
Benefits of supplying said bike = 1 new Addiscombe member

She is about 5'4" - 5'5"

Cheers,

Paul

PS: Am fully healed after the crash on the way back from the cafe, statements have sent to cops (Cheers all you witness types). Rode to Cambridge yesterday and all was fine so hope to see you all on Saturday, Friday night binge permitting......

I had a look round ebay today.....

Caveat emptor and all that but there are what appear to be some good deals on there.

Bon chance

I know someone who is selling a very spanky Pinarello for £1,500 - nice finishing kit Dura-ace etc its a 48cm so about right for a 5'4" lady I'd suggest - I'm 5'4" and ride a 48cm but I have very short legs!

I'm also considering flogging my Principia Rex which is a 49cm c-c also with Dura-ace, frame is in perfect nick but the levers have some crash damage which is purely aesthetic, its been raced and has a few add-ons and trick bits. If anyone is interested e-mail me hannah_reynolds@ipcmedia.com.

Thanks for the offers Hannah, but i reckon that is at least £1000++++ out of our league.

Cheers though
