As reported by the Daily Bugle today,

Framboli became the directeur sportive of Addiscombe CC in the 1990's, and had links with the local shops. In Framboli's flat in Croydon 100 supermarket bags were found which were suspected to have contained food that the team eat, and were being taken away for further examination.

Framboli has continually denied any such involvement.
