Next CR - any one for a longer ride?

Weather-dependent of course. Not quite sure where yet - either Silent Pool or the Balcombe ride or maybe somewhere else.

Hoping to get back to a 17s group down to the cafe but afterwards it'll be a little bit slower but steady.

Yes, Sean, probably safer even if I don't know what you're going on about :?

Alex, yes, I know the RR's on but I'm intending to ride on from the cafe, so I'll be out to assist with the ride down to Charlwood.

I'm still up for a longer ride after the cafe stop, to the Silent Pool at Shere (or Albury as some prefer). Looks like it'll be a lovely day for it. Anyone else?

If, however, there is dire need for me on the normal return trip, then I suppose I'll have to forego it

Now I didn't know that - apparently the Silent Pool is where Agatha Christie disappeared http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2006/oct/15/books.booksnews

Well, it all depends on how I feel - everybody seems to going down with a cough/cold thing and my throat feels funny...

Could either do the alternative ride (17s) down to Charlwood with the extra loop to Horley to avoid the road closure and then the reverse club run back/Boxhill or if anyone wants to continue on after the cafe stop, I got back from the Silent Pool about 3pm and that was after about an half hour stop sitting and watching the dragonflies over the water.
