Shimano Tools Needed

I'm trying to sort out my winter bike, and I seem to be a couple of tools short of a full tool-kit

Has anyone got tools for removing the basic Shimano square tapered bottom brackets that I could borrow for a day?

I need a crank extracting tool, and a bottom bracket tool (internal splined type).

Once this is sorted, I'll have a 2006 56cm Specialized Allez frame for sale if anyone is interested......

Might be able to help out Keith, I'll check my toolbox, I pretty sure I've got a crack extractor for a tapered BB, my Allez still runs one. Could pop it round tommorow after work?

Thanks for the offer Paul (and Mulberry). I've aready called in at Paul H's and used his tools to remove the cranks and extract the BB.

The BB took some getting out. Infact it required an extra special tool, eh Paul .

Having worked in a bike shop and serviced many (shocking) bikes, I've had to remove some fairly seized BB and we devised some interesting tools to seperate the offending articles. Everyone has their favourite
