CR Xmas Weekend!

Postby TimNick » Tue Oct 28, 2008 1:46 pm

Just a thought (& not sure if there are normally different plans vis a vis CR Xmas Week) but would anyone else be up for a CR on Sunday 28th Dec? I'm going to be in Pompey (don't mention Redknapp to the missues at the mo......whoah...argh...urgh!) and to be honest will be still be hungover and not returning to Sarf Croydon till Sat 27th Dec pmish so will miss the normal Sat CR.

Anyhow in an effort to kick start the metabolism post Xmas / Boxing Day excess a nice run out on the Sunday (standard or alternative CR or even a one off special run - any ideas welcome!) would be great. I know Rob (Coulsdon via RSA) is up for it so that's 2 from the 17s....

Ride safe all!

If you're going to be down that way, there's always the New Forest 10 on Boxing Day.

If I'm not otherwise engaged then I expect I shall be out somewhere, I'll post nearer the time if I am and where I'm going etc. TimNick I would imagine there will be a few on-spec rides done over the festive period so just keep an eye out. Some of these lazy buggers get the whole Christmas period off through to the New Year  so should be doing something to work off the mince pies.

I'm planning on re-fitting my bathroom between Xmas & New Year, so if it doesn't quite go to plan I'll need to get out on my bike to find a convenient bush.

im back from oop north on 27th so could probably be interested in soemthing on the 28th

Nothing stupidly long and a reasonably early start would probably be required or the morning pass would probably not be forthcoming!

I should be up for something on the Sunday.

Usual Christmas rules, I assume - that is, wear a present.

As long as it won't result in getting arrested
