Sunday Club Run

Was excellent yesterday. Split into two groups, one group with the likes of Steve Bayliss, John Ibbo etc head off down to Brighton with a group of around 8 of us heading into Kent with Doug. The weather was pretty good, a strong wind but not too cold and no rain thank goodness.

We kept up a fairly good pace all the way to Westerham for a nice cuppa and the biggest slices of Fruit Cake I have seen in some time. Darren popped in on his way past to say hello and try to tempt us out with the treat of riding up Toys and Ide Hill a couple of times. Surprisingly none of us quite rose to the challenge and we head off back into Croydon.

Are these Sunday rides 'official' ACC club runs, or can anyone tag along.
(I don't mean previously discussed expelled riders from the Nomads!)

I mean passive, non ACC members just out for 60-70 miles at a steady paced Sunday ride.

Can anyone who fancies a ride (oo-er) on sunday post on the forum, I often ride on sunday and would like the chance to ride with others, I suppose putting mobile nos and texting could be done, any ideas?

The ride leaving from the Feathers in Merstham is a regular ride I believe. Arrive about 9.15am for a 9.30am start.
