King of the Mountains - in winter

Postby Michelle » Tue Dec 09, 2008 10:33 pm

It's official! Me and Keef have booked up a sneaky weekend's skiing and snowboarding at the much loved King of the Mountains Chalet near the foot of the Alpe D'Huez. A favourite for all us ACCers on various trips out to Alpine Cycling havens. Lots of people took advantage during La Marmotte, I believe.

This time, though, we'll be bombing down the slopes on wooden implements, and then get taken up the slopes again in electric chairs. Good innit!

Mmmmm, really looking forward to Helyn's cooking. Yum! And the unlimited wine with dinner. And the AWESOME cakes at tea time.

Check them out

Whatever you do, don't ask Helen to make a tartiflette - you really wouldn't like it  - and there'd be lots left over that would go to waste
