Off-road club run Sat 17th Jan

Postby higg » Thu Jan 08, 2009 2:37 pm

New season of off-road club-runs start next weekend on 17th Jan. Again leaving at 8.30 for 2.5-3 hour easy paced ride to the cafe. Depending on who turns up there may be an off-road return, otherwise a tarmac return to Coulsdon.

Please post if you're interested.

There will probably be another on 7 Feb.

Aodan.

Happy new year Aodan

You've got some stiff compitition as it's the lardy downhill rolling race that day also.

I will join you again soon as I enjoy your rides alot.

Sorry, Aodan. Like Mark, I'll probably have a go at the Free Wheel on 17th Jan. Will plan to join you in Feb though.

I'll be up for this too, unless it's chucking it down. Will confirm on Friday when I've checked the weekend forecast...

Ooops, I didn't realise the freewheel was on the same day, let's see on Friday if there are any more takers or if the weathers OK.

How about starting at 9 and then making it slightly quicker pace ? This way we might avoid the rain.

If it's dry I'll be there, ok for 9, think George is coming too.

Well, it looks like being anything but dry, plus I'm still pretty achy from a spill last night on the way home from work (greasy roundabout, maybe diesel spill - not sure. Bike came out from underneath me and I hit the deck with my face. Again.) so I'll probably give it a miss this time.
