This thread is a tad barren. Do we have any idea who will be participating. Clearly there needs to be enough for a race!

Sadly it clashes with the Hounslow 100 so I will not be there.

Well I got there in the end despite getting a little lost, its a bugger of a place to find.

Very few turned up, real big shame as this could have been a great excuse to get the family out, have a picnic and watch some great close riding.

Big thanks to Mark for organising this. I'll be there next year to have a go.

Well done to all the riders who took part, I'll let them tell their own story.

Thanks also to Snoop for the food, Steve B's other half for the coffee and chat and Alan M for showing me a faster way of getting home.

Cheers all.

Thanks again to Mark

I need to work on my sprints but lovely afternoon well done the winner!!! In view of the modest numbers suggest the following:

1. Combine induction same day as race and pay for tailored programme to train ACC track newbies - we have enough members to make this viable-

2. Allocate funds for first 10 rental bikes free to new rider who complete an induction and race that day on first reserved basis and pay for this from club funds. These 2 actions should ensure a critical mass take part for next year's races.

costs likely to be less than £100 but benefits could be enormous, weather permitting 8)

Cracking day out Gromit 8) I'd anticipated a few more might turn out so brought a tidy picnic which we've just finished now (sound of waist expanding). Very impressed with the riders today. The Shadow continues to power on, Keith K gave 'im a good run for his money and respect to all the ACCers who turned out and battled in the intense heat and boy - it was windy too eh wot  Hat's off to Mark Leedham for pulling all together and in Huw, well let's just say we couldn't have wished for a lovelier bell ringer...lovely.

Keira took these pics

And I snapped a half a lap of the ACC train in full effect 8)

Good fun
