[quote="Daren L"]I'm just pleased Climber didn't put a comma after much in his original post.

Now, now Daren.... you haven't always been a good little boy!

The response to Climber had an element of something that possibly escapes such an intillectual giant as your 'good' self; i.e. Humour.

[quote]At the moment Im probably gonna suspend your account cos it aint worth all the hassle. You can still post from your 'other' account. You know the one with the same IP address that you were posting from the other week. Ie the one with your real name against it

Oh...you mean the one with the name Matt_Ives?
hmmmmm...last time I looked, that wasn't my real name...but nice try :D
Anyway, it's always a good idea to suspend someone's account if you don't like what they are saying. We couldn't have people voiceing their opinions freely. Honestly..the very idea!

Well, my dear, dear Rob...I never EVER post under my real name ......EVER. That's because I suffer from paranoia and believe that everyone is out to get me and hack into my computer and ...errr...steal my identity and then try and defraud me and then ultimately kill me.
BTW : Is there an ACC hate list?
Who's on it and can I join?...Or perhaps I'm a member already? Do they have their own jersey?

Love

the freedom of speech and censorship debate was about allowing people to talk freely, but aimed at people who actually have something positive, constructive, interesting to say, regardless of if they are a member of ACC or not.
removing someone because they are being a complete arse is another matter altogether LUDWIG

My dear, dear Rob,

Actually, I am a highly motivated and dedicated cyclist with copious amounts of aggression and a tactical nous that would make Lance Armstrong look like a CTC cycle tourist with stabilizers.

However, I do have several minor drawbacks as a cyclist, one of which is an almost complete lack of athletic ability. This coupled with the fact that I have the heart and lungs of an anemic Marlboro smoking pie-addict, means that I normally always get dropped from the 15 mph group by the time we've got to Merstham.

Kind Regards,

Ludwig

I seem to remember from my distant youth that Ludwig was the name of a cartoon character, basically an egg with legs. Went around to the music of Beethoven, hence the name of Ludwig I presume.

I also seem to remember that Ludwig Van Beethoven went deaf in his later years, which kind of explains why our Ludwig doesn't seem to listen to the fair criticism of his posts, of course this being a written form of communication I think he is more blind to his critics, but I think you get the gist.

Maybe we could give everyone a literary test before the club run and whoever volunteers to mark the papers has got to be Ludwig, I am sure he/she would not be able to resist, being like Ludwig Van Beethoven a genius in kind.

So if anyone wants to know who Ludwig is we probably just need to look for someone that looks like an egg riding a bike and doesn't listen to anyone else. Couldn't be too difficult I would imagine.

My dear Marek,

Whilst I do indeed resemble an egg in so far as I am corpulent by even the most liberal of standards, I do not have any affiliation to Ludwig Van Beethoven.

I am the great grandson of another famous Ludwig, after whom I was named. I am of course talking about the philosopher, Ludwig Wittgenstein who held the chair at Trinity College , Cambridge for several years after the war.

Please feel free to PM me with any philosophical conundrums that may occur to you .I will be happy to help you in any way that I can.

Yours respectfully,
Ludwig 1.1
