MTB ride Sunday 16th August (LEADER NEEDED !!)

Postby higg » Wed Aug 12, 2009 12:56 pm

Hopefully I'll get this in before the forum goes down.

For Sunday, how about the Box Hill loop (or part thereof). Easy flowing trails, there is scope for a 3-4 hour ride if people want to carry on but I will need to head back early so will just be doing 2-3hrs. Starting from East Croydon at 10.00 or pick-up from Action Bikes in Wallington at 10.30am.

Also, the cyclo cross season is starting soon, so if anybody's thinking of dusting off their CX bike, this is the opportunity. The trails are mostly non-technical bridleway and a perfect introduction (or refresher) to off-road CX bike handling. Bear in mind though, the pace is easy (not training pace).

Sorry, I've just come down with a cold and won't be able to lead tomorrows ride. I don't want to do this but it's probably best for everyone else as well as myself.

Will anybody else be able to lead it ? or else we'll have to cancel. It doesn't have to go to Box Hill if anyone knows other routes.

Aodan.
