West London CA 30 - 5 June

Just me from the ACC for this 30 on the Bently course. But what crazy weather. Last weekend I was down to ride the TVS 10 on the same course when it was cold, wet, windy and cancelled (due to spray). This weekend was steaming hot with a south westerly breeze.

I started the event fairly steadily to allow for the heat and extra 5 miles but still managed to fall apart at around 20 miles. The next five miles were agony with me barely able to turn the pedals (or so it felt), but at least the last five miles were ok with a tail wind. I managed to finish with a reasonable 1:13:21 though this was some way off the form I'm looking for (and I got beaten by folk who don't normally beat me!).

Ah well, next time...
