Cwmcarn Paragon 25 - 19th June

Having ridden this South Wales course (R25/7) a few times now, but never in ideal conditions, I was hoping this might be THE weekend. Alas, it was not to be as, like other events over the weekend, there was a cool, stiff northerly wind blowing. The outward leg was, as expected, harder than usual and while the return leg was fast it didn't seem as fast as it should. The result was an ok 59:02 but I can't just blame the wind as I finished feeling I could have gone faster (unlike last weekend). As usual the fast blokes seemed unaffected by the wind with Ceri Pritchard fastest with a long 50.

I'll be back on this course in a few weeks time for another try so I'm hoping for some better conditions then.

Is this the Welsh course Steve?
A 59.02 on a windy day when you felt fresh at the end ain't bad...just make sure you feel knackered at the end of the next one .
