I was the only ACC rider on the start sheet yesterday morning for the South Eastern RC 10 on the G10/57 course at Horsham.
It looked very calm when I looked out of the window first thing, and this was confirmed by the early morning mist that was hanging around as I drove down the M23. It was still misty at Horsham, but not too bad to prevent the event going ahead on time. Felt pretty warm and humid as I was riding, so humid in fact that my shades steamed up and I had to whip them off and stuff them down the front of my skinsuit so I could see where I was going. Finished in 23:20 which is only 11 seconds slower than my course PB set in 2007, so pretty pleased with that.
