Farnborough and Camberley CC 25 Boy my legs hurt!

Postby George » Sat Apr 16, 2011 5:44 pm

Good fast afternoon on the Bently 25 course, I had a target to beat Paul T's pb 54.35 :D

Well I did a lot of PLF now my legs really really hurt like I can hardly walk, I was so cream crackered at the end I almost collapsed

Managed to finally beat my Nemesis Lee Turner in a 25 by nearly minute

Jon H 1.01.13 you should have gone under today Jon, what happened :?:
George 53.42 pb by over 2 mins :D get in!

Brilliant George, I knew it would be a fast day when the sun came out just in time for this pm KO.

I gave Joyce a lift home from the cafe today after doing the RA on the G25/45 and we were talking about you and this afternoon's race, were you're ears burning as well as your legs? I said after your time in the Bletchingley TT (which normally throws up similar times to a 25 for me) I thought you'd do a 53 :D .

You have made it more tricky to get the LTS prize in the ACC 25, just have to get in the top 5 on scratch now won't you :D . You can be a 0 next time  .

Come down to the P885 with me and you'll get a 52  . Put the 29th May in your diary.

Hope your legs don't fall off tomorrow, mine felt dead all race when I did this one and the SCCU one the following morning last year.

Brilliant ride George - well done.

For the record I recorded a time of 1:01:16 which, even in almost perfect conditions, was about as fast as I can go at the moment - so quite happy with that.

Sorry Steve I didn't realise you rode the event, didn't spot you on the start sheet.

I'm going to take a trip to Wales for the fast courses there this year and I've got a ride on the U47 in a fortnight, I know you've ridden this one before :D

I was next to last man off so you would have had to hang around a while for my result anyway George!

Good luck with the fast courses - I'm expecting more PBs from you.
