Did anybody see the crash last night - I only heard about it afterwards as it was half-way down the bunch in the S-Bends?

The chief comm is very keen to hear what happened especially if it involved a "norwegian rider" - chap in Red shirt with Norwegian flag on it. Also does anybody know who he is. This chap turned up too late to race and was told he couldn't ride and then proceeded to join the bunch mid-way thru and raced anyway!!! This in itself is a serious BC offence.
From what I recall there was no traffic at the S-bends and the bunch should have been strung out so probable cause of crash is pilot error I reckon.

Well done to you guys - several ACC riding well and strongly. Bad luck Matt - too hard to escape last night. If Connall couldn't do it then none of us were going to esp with so many chaps sitting in during the last 3-4 laps. Strange tactics of RCC to chase down their solo leader Chris Batch - a lack of communication there methinks plus the danger of wearing a white jersey instead of club kit when you're up the road : - (

I rode there and did one lap in reverse then stayed at the finish, so didn’t see the crash. But I did see the guy in Norwegian jersey, riding alone in the direction of the course (wondered what he was doing), on what must have been their first lap as it was only just past 7.20 and I was riding towards the HQ/start. Can’t remember between which groups he was, or if he was ahead of first group. Don’t know who he is either.

Looked like strong riding from ACC, well done to Steve for 2nd just behind Tony Lock. Matt thought it was a good idea to ride back with us, fair to say he suffered on the hills!
