Only me and John from ACC tonight in the 3/4 cat ...not much for me, got dropped after the 5th or 6th lap I cant remember, on the uphill drag section...and then joined a small group that also got dropped. On one of the laps the wheel in front of me just slowed down suddenly on the uphill drag section and my wheel touched his and I almost went off but managed to control my balance...after a few laps I saw a couple of riders on the ground due to a crash that happened, don't know how it happened?... this caused few diversions to the race and then I lost the group I was with and from there I just continued by myself...John just disappeared somewhere ...Sylv and Steve were there too in the 1/2 cat. and they looked like they were doing well!

Good race...well I will just consider it as a training session for me...and thanks to Marcus, Phil and his son that were cheering from the side

Nasty and silly little crash from what I saw. Some uncertainty in the bunch on the straight and ... it's like you see in slow motion what's going to happen. I turned away when they went down - don't like gore. Massive respect for entering in the first place.

Top result again Sylv!,shame about the last lap though,that happened to me the other week there but with 3 laps to go i had to pull out as i cooked my legs so well done for hanging in there for 5th place!

Ghaleb and John - good efforts guys, and make sure you come back for the start of the season next year. It might take a while but you will definately get there, you are both good enough.

Quite a big field in the E12s, and straight from the off it was the usual mad dash for pole position in to the hairpin. Maybe one day I might give it a bit of welly and try to get near the front myself, rather than the usual "after you, and you, and you. Sh!t I'm near the back again ". I've just not the confidence to get near the front as my negative thinking get the better of me, telling me it will be easier at the back - wrongly. Everytime is the same, I bottle it, end up toward the back and then suffer like a dog as guys get catapulted through the back door leaving me to pick up the pieces. Mid pack would probably be the best spot for me, I really need the shelter in the early laps when the nitrous gets switched on at the front.

It seemed to splinter quite badly. I couldn't tell how many there were up the road as they went in ones and twos. I think some came back initially, but innevitably the usual suspects including Sir Sylv went and stayed. A few had missed out though, Jody, Jake and Germain, so the pace could still be right up there if others chipped in to help. I went through a bad patch about this time and seriosly contemplated pulling out, but luckily I found a couple of the bigger guys to sit behind for a lap or so and this made the difference between dropping off and staying in. Also Adams left hand on my back helping me close a gap might have helped a bit . It was my last Palace of the year and I wanted to finish.

Great race to watch, great write ups and good filming from Mr Pie. Sylv on the attack from the outset and Steve initially holding up the rear then moving up as the race progressed. I didn't see Harry break of from the front and thought he was lapped

Great result from both. Steve you are right you should be at the front or mid pack at least. You are too good to be near the back.
The 3/4's was just as exciting with John and Gheleb getting some race fitness.

I thought it was the last week and so persuaded my daughter to come and cheer. I was disappointed there wasn't more Acc representation as I'm sure Sylv and Steve were too as they could do with some help.

Will be there again next week and hope to see , George, Darren, Ant, etc. adding to the ACC numbers.
