What a legend :!: :!: :!:

Cracking Milan-San Remo, Gerrans was always the shoe in with Spartacus pulling on the front :!: :!:  ... what a machine! :P

So wanted Sparticus to win. Love the way he has the balls and power to attack. Gerrans was a lucky boy, despite doing 90% of the work in the last 6k Cancellara was only just beaten in a sprint.

Agree re power/sprint of Fabian, massive fan of the big Diesel train! But the writing was on the wall once that break was established, Gerrans was always the quickest. Bit rich to say Gerrans was lucky. He followed the attack and worked with Nibali until Fabian joined. Fabian then took the lead in the break! Very smart riding from Gerrans actually.

Fabian could have sat up but would only maybe get a place in a bunch sprint, in the end he got a deserved 2nd place and the UCI points with it!

Gerrans owes Fabian SOME recognition but at the end of the day, he made the break along with Nibali when it counted and crossed the line first :D
