First TT of the season for me. Well, actually the 3rd one I'd entered, but I DNS'd the first one in pouring rain, and the second one was cancelled due to roadworks on the course. I was hoping that bad luck didn't come in threes.

E22/24 course is a spoco course mainly on B-roads south of Colchester. Not particularly hilly (big ring all the way round), but rolling and draggy in places.

I didn't have high expectations, given my almost complete lack of fitness, just hoping I didn't come last.

Well I avoided lanterne rouge but was well down the running order with a 1:07 something, compared to the winning time of 54 something.

Still, a good test of where my fitness is (or isn't). Got some work to do!
