Finally, after 5 weeks of not racing due to an injury (which turned out to be growing pains) I am finally back!
A great race to get me back racing. The weather was good, I felt good (except getting lost on the way trying out a new route!) and we were going round anti-clockwise.
I also wanted to impress as I had the CatfordCC Equipe/Banks manager reviewing my race!
In the first half of the race the pace was actually not to bad. A few attacks, but not serious one’s. By the 5th lap someone decided to attack quite quickly and slightly got away. I decided this could be my chance so went after him…
