Catford CC 10

Second time out on the Q10/19 Tonbridge course for me this year. First time it was wet, windy and rainy so I was hoping for better conditions this time. Sure enough Saturday morning was dry with not much wind so was promising. Last time I had a huge speed wobble at 45mph down the first hill, so I took it easy down there this time and kept it down to 40. The rest went pretty much to plan and I finished in 22:47 which is my second fastest 10 ever. Robert Royle-Evatt was riding too and did a 23:19.

The first bit's downhill, you loose about 80m height in the first 1/2 mile, re-gain most of it in the next 5 miles to the turn, then loose it again on the way back to the finish. The good bit is not having to go back up the hill to where you started. Well, not until you've finished anyway.
