Well done to Paul Tunnell for a tenth place, Paul you were very close to getting ninth but you were just pipped on the line, I have got the video evidence.

Also a big well done to Dave Kent who took part in his first road race and managed to just about hang on. I hope you enjoyed it and come back for more.

The race ended in a bunch sprint after the elites caught the main group with about two laps to go. The Elite riders were really impressive, there were only 3 of them in their group but they still managed to catch the other groups which were much bigger and were not exactly hanging about.

Gary Dodd took the win with second and third place very close behind him being Daniel Duguid from same team as Gary and Paul Allen from Pearson, then about a 2 second gap for the rest of the sprinters with Mr Tunnell up there.
