CC Bexley 10, 03/06/15

Rode out to Brand's Hatch from work this evening (20 mile warm-up) and rode CC Bexley's club 10 on the Q10/25 course which is mostly on the A20. I'd never ridden this course before, despite it being one of the closest to home. It's a 4 mile uphill slog through West Kingsdown to the turn, back the same way, then past the start and a plunge down what is colloquially known as "Death Hill" (I span out on 50-11 at 40mph), two sharpish left turns and about 1/2 a mile on a country lane to the finish. Managed 26:04 on my road bike with no aero kit, reasonably happy with that. Then rode home into the setting sun to clock up 45 miles, not bad for a school night.
