Wasn`t really up for this event as the forecast of rain and wind didn`t really inspire me. But decided at midday to get my arse in gear and drive to Bentley and hope for the best.
The early starters had the best of the day, at least it was dry but blowing a gale, unlike for Steve Davies who I saw briefly at the finish of his ride, who was like a drowned rat.
23.46 for Steve
25.18 for me
Glad I made the effort and was reasonable pleased with my time considering the conditions.
