This was actually an evening event starting at 5:00 pm with me off at 6:04. Conditions were bright and warm with a bit of a breeze - not a bad day at all. Despite being caught by my minute person, Julia Shaw, before the turn, I still managed a season's best of 23:24. Ms Shaw recorded 21:21 which is half a minute better than my PB done on the super fast P613! Steve Walkling won the event with 19:32 beating Ben Instone into second place.
