Welsh CA Championship 25 - 24 May

A rare Sunday morning outing for me in the Welsh CA Championship 25 on the R25/7 Usk-Monmouth course. For once it was a beautiful morning with a light wind, the only downside being a chilly start (11 degrees - my hands went numb just "warming" up) as I was off relatively early at no. 11. I chose to ride this event as I'm a bit of a fan of the course, as I've said before it's a really fast old fashioned dual carriageway dragstrip and great fun on a good day if you're fit . Unfortunately my current lack of form meant I once again failed to get the right side of 25mph with 1:00:04, which doesn't sound too bad but for the fact that this put me in 77th place . The event was won by Scott Povey in 50:47.

Don`t be so hard on yourself-only 5secs and you would have gone under.

Hopefully see you at the Crabwood event. Eye infection permitting.
