So it's week 2 of 3.
I managed to not get disqualified this week
. I certainly didn't cross an solid white lines, although I did notice quite a few others doing so.
The course is the large triangle of roads on this map.

The race is dominated by a strong south westerly wind.
5 laps, with primes on laps 2, 3 and 4.
On lap 1, on one of those tricky straight, wide, smooth roads there was a crash
. I managed to steer around it. There wasn't much of the characteristic noise of carbon on tarmac, so I suspect most fell into the verge. Speaking to the Commissaire (thanks John the old'un) afterwards, nobody was seriously hurt.
Anyway, a break of 4 riders gets away on the 2nd lap.
Now in the field of 70-ish riders there's over 20 riders from just 2 local clubs, including the club hosting the event. There's no representative from either of these clubs in the break. I hedge my bets on a serious chase being organised. It doesn't materialise, so I have to settle for 5th.
