great times marek, wow!

I think Jon, Mrs Snoop and Matt did a fab job having never worked together before. Transition was where the time was lost methinks. I know Mrs Snoop is pleased with a 30.48 swim, she had to fight through the crowd in the water, lesson learned - get nearer the front....next time ?

Huge event, over 11,000 competitors across two days. I felt a bit......all lost in the suprmarket...

That is a great result Marek! Only 9 mins off of Jenson Button.

I managed 3hrs 4mins, which was 42mins for the swim, 1hr 11mins for the bike and just under 57mins for the run, and a shocking 13mins in transition (yep I did the run in your cleats thing, put socks on, forgot to take my helmet off and so had to go back).

I cannot believe that Jenson managed to let him set up his bike in the F1 wind tunnel.

Cheers

With that sort of assistance, not to mention a tri coach, his bike time of 1h 02m seems somewhat pedestrian. Although his other times were good.

I am doing the 7Oaks tri in Sept so will def not be running in cleats. I think Jon has the right idea. Don't need a wetsuit for that one either.

Back to the cost theme-a couple of years ago I thought seriously about the ballbuster until I was told the cost of the event. Quickly changed my mind, but still enjoy riding the course.
