Much harder than I thought it'd be, the pace was pretty quick, but it was the tactics and people talking in whispers (some weren't so much whispering) around me that had me most worried. I spent the race trying not to do anything dumb, but wasn't sure what that was as I didn't have a clue what to do, or where to sit in the pack.
After talking to Ghaleb yesterday I understand I need to get myself a license to maybe re-enact that lead-out. Well done Ghaleb and John and really great work by Toks everyone involved in the organisation.

Mate you did well for your first race!
My take on the B race ..... I thought the pace was too slow throughout the race and thus the reason I attacked a few times!
... I took the first sprint seriously and started the sprint at the bottom of the climb, went very hard and Ghaleb/Ilija stuck to my wheel to pass me just before the line..... I remember that effort taking it out of me, as it took me like a lap or so to recover!....I remember the final sprint to the line well, Simon and Ghaleb where up ahead and I had just about caught Ghalebs wheel when he left Simon's slip stream and bolted!.... I didn't have much left by that stage and was never going to catch Ghaleb! Well won geeza!My earlier attacking efforts definitely left me with less of a kick at the end... but I prefer to attack during the race, trying to get away in a break and inflict some pain!
Overall great race and organisation! Thanks Tok and co for organising!
