I think you've come on really well this year Sean, you really put your mind to doing some hard rides and pushing yourself and its paid off. Keep going for the next 4 months then come out on the mid week winter chain gangs, they really put some speed in your legs and teach you how to dig in and suffer.

Good placing Sylv, your going to be one to watch next season :D

[quote="Sean Hogan - 何祥"]No to the first and after the ride round found myself at the back, right at the back. Where I've done better I've usually been at least halfway in. I'll be better and stronger next year. This year is for me a taster of what I think I can do if I can keep at it.
Yeah I know mate. But believe me you wanna be at or near the front especially with such big fields. Positioning yourself at the back seriously limits your chances :(

[quote="Sean Hogan - 何祥"]Cheers Rob,

I know Giro's are good, but @ £100 that is just over £20 more. With a bonce like mine I've found that only the Squalo and Giro's fit....so It loks like the Squalo is the one.

Palace was not fun, but in truth I threw in the towel way too soon and should've tried harder to catch someone.

Sean

As the (american) motorcyclists say "If you have a five dollar head, get a five dollar helmet".

Personally, I don't begrudge my head the comfort and protection it deserves. I'm quite happy to spend upwards of £100 on a helmet to keep my head as comfortable as possible.

Good job Sylv for the placing... and Sean for surviving a season at the Palace!

Sean if you want to reconsider your decision to call it a season, I'm thinking of trying CP for the first time next Tuesday, I surely could use some company at the back :D
