Well done Keith, what do you think about the circuit? I was there for the vets race but a few headset problems meant I couldn't race :( My 2010 racing debut will have to wait till next week now.

I'm not sure it kept stiffining up so the handle bars wouldn't move freely. I 've taken the bits apart and regreased them seem ok now. There were only ten mins till the race started and being useless at fixing bikes I didn't want to start taking things apart. No worries lots of other races to choose from. I'm just about to watch highlights of the Lincoln Grand Prix on Eurosports, maybe I'll see you again

I've not done a huge amount of circuit racing, but reckon it's far superior to Hillingdon, CP (manic) or Dunsfold (there must be some bends because you keep coming back to the same place, but you'd hardly notice). Yes the hill is a bit too steep (for me anyway) in one section, but the circuit as a whole is great. :D

After the start-finish line, the track drops into a left hander that gets better the faster you hit it. The 90deg right hander at the bottom of the long hill you can almost pedal around, and most seem to be more wary of the hairpin than they perhaps need to be.

Not sure how the circuit would be in the wet though, especially that first bend. Also don't know how it would be with a large bunch of inexperienced racers. Fortunately in the E12 race there were only a few muppets on the track. A funny shout of "learn to f***ing ride" from one of the Dynamos.

Good fun - especially with the mud overflowing on the course
