A beutifull sunny but chilly early morning 6.27 start for me today at Richmond Park. Quite a strong headwind going up Sawyers hill made it 30-60 secs slower for most peeps previous times on the same course but i managed a 28 sec faster time and a 25.11 pb and 6th position so pretty happy with that.
W.Sybrandy won it in an amazing 22.59 just 20 odd secs off hutches course record on a slower day. 2nd position up to me we were all 24-25 mins so well behind Sybrandy!
Enjoy these events, close to home for me and i'm back by 8.30 even after getting a lap or two in after.....
there is still 20 odd spaces for the next event on the 7th Aug apparently.....
