On a dry but blustery day-more like April than June-I was the only Addiscombe member to ride this event.

Obviously not troubling any of the class field of Pete Tadros, Richard Prebble, Rubert Burbridge and the Yates brothers-I still enjoyed my ride and recorded a time of: 25.31.

Tadros won with a short 20.

Poor Eliott Porter thought he`d done 19.10 until he`d realised he`d turned one roundabout to early and finished with a dnf.

How the hell do you turn one roundabout too early He must have been gutted.

Well done Terry another good ride .

I guess the rider was unfamiliar with the course and just had it in his head to turn at the RAB by the trees, the course does change there for that little tree lined section for the final bit to the turn.

Yes your right Andrew for some reason I had forgotten about that little one, probably just used to riding the course now. Would have thought that he must have thought that it was strange that there were no marshals at the turn.
