Got to feel sorry for Bason:
Two succesive 300+ mile 12hrs - last year he beat Comp Record only to find out Jeff Jones had gone a couple of miles further and finished his race before (so Bason never got credit for it, name in the record books) and then this year he tops 300 again and gets beaten by a team mate for the National Champs by 1 mile.

Pretty impressive. I'd settle for being able to ride one sub-hour 25 (maybe training?) let alone 12 back to back.
