Just myself down for this. Not helped by the fact I twisted my ankle on Wednesday and it was the size of an orange. Rested it until this morning and it was okay. It was raining when I left but it was fine when I got to Broadbridge Heath.
Warmed up and felt good. Started off steady and then just gave it all. I thought it was fast on the way to the turn with mainly 53 x 14 but it was fast on the way back to with 53 X 13 alot of the way. It then started to piddle down in the last mile so much so I could hardly see through my visor by the end. Crossed the line feeling that I had tried hard and it had gone well.
Pleased with a 22.50 my fastest for a couple of years so very pleased.
Then managed to drop my glasses in the road taking my helmet off, which I only managed to find with help from Tim Stevens as I had managed to walk past them twice
Hope it goes well for the Addiscombe contingent in the 100 tomorrow, hope it stays nice for you.
