Crystal Palace Results - 21st May 2013

I cycled to palace this week as everyone else was doing the evening 10. I wasn't doing it as my mum doesn't like me being back late.

Good race, a few people I recognised, mostly VCL as they were marshalling it.
We went round clock-wise as they had the barriers up; I definitely preferred this, probably because there is a long hill-ish!
A few attacks during the race, nothing lasting very long though, I somehow managed to get myself in a breakaway for about a minute!

I've learnt from my last race:
- I only took my turn at the front when we were going down hill!!
- The last turn before the sprint I was 10 riders down, but I remembered everyone breaks around corners so decided to go around the outside going up about 6 places!

Overall a brilliant race and and a good result. Just narrowly missed 2nd place though!
