North Hampshire RC 25 - 14/09/13

Four ACC riders down to start this one on the Bently course with Andrew being a non-starter. Conditions were not dissimilar to last weekend in Wales being showery and cold but with a light wind making it a reasonably good day. I felt I rode better than last weekend but paid for it with several minutes of coughing and wheezing after finishing. In the end I managed 59:23 which was ok but I really needed it about 10 degrees warmer again. I had to rush off after the event and didn't get to note down the other rides but from memory I think Paul did 59:54 and Robert a 1:02(?).

Hmmm looks like it wasn't too bad then, Paul was happy to get under the hour again after a fairly long wait.

It was still cold and raining steadily at home when I'd have to leave and didn't fancy the drive on the off chance of it stopping. Such a hit and miss, late starting, lack of training season for me that I'm just racing for fun and didn't think the weather would make it so.
