At last a temperature in the twenties and bright conditions set for an enjoyable ride on the Kingston Bagpuize (H10/17R,A420) course (this must be one of the few courses where the finish is at higher altitude than the start). The only downside was a stronger westerly breeze than the weather man had predicted but at least it was blowing along the longer outward leg. The warmer weather and a flatter course made it much better for me than Saturday and I finished with 23:19 despite a tough final couple of miles straight into the wind.
