Only Addiscombe rider on the startsheet for this yesterday.
This was a course recce, as I'm planning on doing a Spoco 50, and the Leeds castle triathlon which both use this section of the A20 between Leeds and Ashford. Once I was on the course I remembered that I had actually ridden it before. It's lumpy; no huge hills but lots of drags that sap your speed.

I was the penultimate rider to start, and once I'd been caught by the last man off I felt like I was Billy no-mates out for a ride on my tod, as I was last rider on the road and didn't catch anyone. I plodded round in 1:07:38, and the fastest ride was a 56 I think. Still, at least the timekeepers didn't pack up and go home before I got there.

Edit: Pete Tadros won in 54:47, next fastest was 56:35

Was this the Q20 course?

I think I did a TT on there a couple of years ago. Never, ever again. I think I also scored about 1:07.

Hitting the SE SPOCO again Jon? Q courses normally nice but tough. I always liked the Q25/8.

Aiming to win the Spoco SE handicap competition this year.
Last year I qualified in one place above lanterne rouge, so that's a good starting point.
