Two words to sum up Round 9, "Broken Mech's".
It was a race of attrition rather than speed, with the going in the field officially described as "gloopy".
No need for brakes as even on the downhill sections, as soon as you stopped peddling, you came to a halt in the mud, provided you weren't slipping side ways that is!
Lesley out lasted her opposition and carried her bike over the line to claim a category win.

George was back on his cross bike, unbelievably in the Vet40's!
