I punctured in Charlwood just before the sign on the way out, on the place where the cobbles are missing, I hit every hole. Really annoyed as I also caved in the rim on the wheels I just bought from Richy V. Ah well, thats racing. At least there is a picture of me, I really must learn to straighten up my helmet before someone takes my picture, not sure if I am trying to smile or if I am grimacing in pain in that one.

Cheers

Marek....

Those cobbles were bloody dangerous if you ask me! heard your blow out a mile off, luckily was in front at the time.....scared the sh*t out of me. Anyway you didnt miss much Marek, it might aswell have been a hill climb time trial at the end. The bunch slowed right down for a minute or so with any decent position impossible to achieve, then someone 'led' it out for the sprint up the hill, rubbish.. but Rob did well.
Glad I managed to get a mention on london cyclesport. Everyone seems to be flying still...

I'll be back for the H'cap champs 17th sept, my birthday.

Good luck for the marmotte, and all else. I'm off to do the longest ride yet this year/ ever I think..GF Campagnolo 214km.... :( Sunday, taken Monday off work just in case!
