Who will buy the coffees on Saturday?

I have just got back from the Surrey League Prize presentations. This is where all the dosh is distributed for the points won during the year in Surrey League races. So who is going to be buying the coffees and who is going to be sitting on the step of the cafe cap in hand, here are the results:

1. Marek Siwicki - Rolling in the lovely green stuff with a massive haul of £52.50. Make sure you stand behind me in the cafe on Saturday, I may buy you a coffee if you ask me nicely.

2. Richard Viney - Keeping himself well hidden, I did not even know he had ridden many road races, £40.50, a great haul for a TTer. Thats enough money to buy a couple of books on road race tactics, or just buy a load of tic tacs.

3. Tim Harris - The lightning sprinter claiming £22.00

4. Tony Kelly - Was amassing the points before his crash £17.00

5. Richard Munday - The Chertsey King gets himself a whopping £4, enough to buy a whopper from Burger King.

6. Paul Tunnell - One race and enough to get himself a cuppa tea and a slice of cake from Charlwood Cafe with change for a phone call home to pick him up at the bottom of Box Hill £2.00.

7. Alan Malarkey - Another one who has sneaked in with a £2.00 haul which will help him pay for his new colnago, or at least enough for a handlebar end.

8. Martin Speyers - We may have to sub you the money for the cake Martin, but at least you will get a cup of tea £1.00.

9. Ajay Khandelwal - Looks like he will be sitting outside the cafe with his cap ready for donations as his racing haul for this year amounted to 50 pence.

Well done all of you, we came 20th out of 58 clubs in the league.

Cheers
