Charlotteville 25

Ex ACC Dave Palmer sent me this result:

Steve Davies rode the Charlotteville CC '25' on Saturday on the H25/8 (26th May), and posted 1.00.08 - event was won by Michael Hutchinson with 48.36.

Despite it being overcast and a little chilly, it wasn't a bad afternoon as the prevailling southerly winds (ie: a head or tail wind on this course) were replaced with a gentle northerly (cross wind).

(I'm not sure how Dave figures that the opposite of a head/tail wind is a cross wind...surely it would just be tail/head - anyhow, good ride Steve, bad luck you didn't quite make the hour)

As others (usually Terry) have been kind enough to post various results of mine I thought it was time I joined in myself. Thanks to Tamar for posting this result and to Dave for providing the information.

Alas a bad patch just around the halfway point cost me a sub-hour ride but this was my best since 2001.
