I was the only Agreeable on duty on the Holmwood course Sat p.m. The weather had cleared up somewhat, although still damp and overcast.

This is a rather unique affair with most of the seeded riders opting to ride their road bikes rather than their dedicated tt rigs.

I had a reasonable ride, clocking exactly the same time as two weeks ago in the Presidents`.

Christian Yates won the event with a shortish 20, Tom Burke won the road bike section with a very short 21, with Paul Pickup and Gary Dodd, second and third. I think Sean Kennedy was second to Chris on his tt bike.

I mentioned this last year but this would be a good event for any ACCer wanting to dip their toe into tting as a lot of the field just use their road bikes.

Well done Tel. You're spot on this is a good one to ride, I did it last year but was away this time. Did you use your TT bike? If not great going on the drops old school stylee.
