Out to Essex this morning for a Spoco 50.
I was first man off at number 5, and it was a fairly lonely ride until number 10 went past, and then number 11
The only saving grace was that I caught number 49 on his 1st lap when I was on my 2nd lap. Did the last few miles on a squishy front tub - another one for PVT's sewing skills. Finished in 2:12 something, 6 minutes slower than I went round this course 2 years ago. But at least I've qualified for the Spoco SE competition now, I just need to improve on some of the placings now.
