This was one of the ECCA Festival events over the bank holiday weekend. I ticked off two of our ECCA marshalling duties, and managed to get a ride in too.

Quite a long warm up for my event consisting of:
1. Standing around marshalling the 2-up 25 from 8-9am.
2. Bacon sarnie & cup of tea.
3. Read the paper and kip in the car.
4. Pusher-off for half the 80 strong field in the 7k TT at 11.30am.
5. Repeat 2 & 3, wondering if the rain will stop by 2.30 for my event - it did.

E91/10 course is an out-and-back on a rolling single carriageway. After hearing the news about the fatality on the F1 course the previous day my heart wasn't really in it, but as I was there anyway I thought I should ride. I was a seeded rider on a zero number thanks to my 20.46 PB. The API rider a minute behind me looked like a power monster, and I just about avoided being caught - he was five seconds behind me at the finish. 24:45 for me.
