No ride for George and me this morning because the event got cancelled.
There was thick fog all round the Essex & Cambridgeshire area, and they couldn't delay the start to allow it to clear because of the time restrictions for being off the A11/A14 later in the morning.

Bad luck, a long way to go for nowt. George was still smiling later on though at the 50 HQ as he popped down to get the miles in and have a cuppa.

Totally gutted as it was a float day but the decision was the right one! It was very poor visibility

Hard luck George - it has happened to me a few times on the F1 - It is so annoying, but as you say if it's not safe, better to be around to ride again. I always fully support any organiser taking that decision, as they are not going to do it without a great deal of thought.
