Training at Herne Hill

I know all this training business makes us sound a bit serious but, well, some people really are into this bike lark so feel free to talk about all training & self improvement related topics in here

Training at Herne Hill

Hi Chaps,

Don't know if anyones is aware but there is track training on at Herne Hill.
Was in GB's earlier this week and was chatting to one of the guys(not his name)and mentioned there is training going on at HH.

Was passing by last night hoping to join in, but you do need to have a racing licence, which I ain't got dam it!
apparantly you can get a bronze so will be looking into that.

So chatting to the old fella from VC L there doing an open training session's on Monday evening starting about 6pm
and Wed 6pm also where they get the Derny's out.
They normally have 2 Derny's so they can have 2 speed groups, but I think you will have to have a intro session first.

If you guys have never experienced Track riding and especially riding behind a derny this is your chance, its excellent fun.
Great for speed work for all the Testers we have now and of course the roadies.

This runs up until the Start of the Mon and Wed night Track leagues- starting in May?
but will still run training sessions on Thurs.

Anyway having missed that did an 1hr on the Dulwich circuit, now that gets your heart pumping!!

Cheers.

Thanks Mark. I'll planning to do some of the Wednesday series, but the temptation of riding behind a derny could get me down there on a Thursday too :D .

Can one of you chaps create a google map of the Dulwich Loop please? - I've got some riders I'm working with who need a short loop in that area

Cheers
