All your moderate-high end aerobic efforts both at CP and RP wil contribute to improved cardiovascular (VO2max) and muscular fitness (Lactate Threshold) all absoloutely key to Nove Colli
Appologies for droning on. One of the reason The RP 3 lap challenge became so popular was because it was promoted by me and one or two others as a great bench mark for fitness. To get Gold in the Etape 2005 95% of my training was done at Regents Park and RP. [url=http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=12603098&start=360]Kingston Wheeler[/url](currently 2nd on the list) was successful in a previous etapes and pretty much based his training on 3 laps of RP.
