...I have been off the bike since mid august. Almost entirely. Due to repeated, mildlyannoyingnotveryseriousbutbadenoughtopreventtraining syndorme (ie, a series of slight colds). Got back on the bike 10 days ago and felt great, had two motivating rides and everything very positive. Got a quite bad cold within the next two days and had to leave it alone since. 3 MONTHS of mediocre ILLNESS!!!
Cancer, AIDS, I can live with, but slight colds? Now I have a chest infection (a mild one

) which is like "yeah it's there but I'm not actually 'feeling' ill... Touch the bike though and it'll be pneumonia at the drop of a cat, sorry hat... Salem just sat on me.
Anyway, for every day lost to illness, take 2 days off to recover before training - by that formula I'll start again in May (providing of course I'm healthy again next week). See you on the line in mid-October Toks (if I CAN see round your engorged belly
